How to Calculate
Your Gas Mileage

Miles Per Gallon (MPG) is simply your miles driven divided by the gallons used.

To measure:

1. At each fill-up, set your trip odometer.
2. Use the previous trip odometer value in miles.
3. Use the gallons used to fill the tank.

We recommend that you keep a log of your gas mileage.

Record the following information:

• Date
• Miles traveled
• Gallons
• MPG
• Fuel price
